STUDIO POLICIES

Deposit & Payment

A deposit is required to book and secure your appointment. A deposit not only reserves our time for you, but ensures that you are serious and committed to making the appointment. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and will be applied towards the total cost of the session. 

 

You are expected to pay the remaining balance, in full, at the time of your service. Last-minute cancellations, no-shows and lateness (beyond our 15 minute grace period) will automatically result in the forfeit of your deposit. We hope you understand as everyone's time is valuable to us.
 

We currently accept payments in the forms of: Cash, Venmo, Zelle and Cash App.

Lateness

We have a strict policy for late arrivals as we do not want to rush your appointment and have scheduling commitments to other clients. We will always do our best to accommodate your service, but please take note of our lateness policy below.

Please contact us ASAP if you are going to be late. We provide a grace period of up to 15 minutes, but any lateness beyond this allowance may result in a cancelled appointment and forfeited deposit. If you’d like to rebook, a new deposit will be required. Deposits are non-refundable.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

If you need to reschedule the appointment without having to lose your deposit, a minimum 72-hour notice is required. Providing us with any less than a 72-hour notice will result in the forfeit of your deposit and a new deposit will be required to schedule a new appointment.

A cancellation made within a 24 hour window will result in the forfeit of your deposit and a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 50% of the reserved service. The cancellation fee will be charged to the card we have on file for you.

No Call, No Show

If you fail to call or show up to your appointment, you will be charged the full cost of service to the card on file. To avoid this, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate and reschedule your appointment. 

No Refunds

Deposits and all payments made are NON-REFUNDABLE. After a service has been completed, refunds cannot be issued under any circumstances. When booking your appointment, please understand that results can never be guaranteed as they vary for everyone depending on skin type, face anatomy, overall health, aftercare and lifestyle. If you are unsatisfied, have any concerns or wish to make changes to your brows, we are happy to discuss options with you to make any possible modifications. 

No Guests

Due to liability reasons, we are unable to allow additional guests to be present in the room during the time of your service. Furthermore, no animals or pets will be allowed for sanitation reasons.

Previous Permanent Makeup

We are extremely selective when working over other tattoo artists' work. If you have had your eyebrows previously tattooed by another artist and are interested in getting corrective work and/or a re-work, you MUST email a clear photo to thebrowrista@gmail.com and be pre-approved PRIOR to booking your appointment. In addition to the photos, please include the date of your last brow tattoo, type(s) of brow tattoo and the total number of sessions. Failure to abide by this policy may result in a forfeit of your deposit and cancellation of appointment. 

Expectations & Final Results

All brow services will begin with a consultation where the client communicates their goals, needs and preferences however, it is important that the expectations are realistic. As the brow artist, our roles include providing professional expertise and ensuring we help you choose the most ideal brow service. Unlike traditional body art tattoos, brow shapes are unique to each client and specific brow techniques are not compatible with all skin types. Every session is a collaboration between the client and the artist; further, It's very important that the client thoroughly researches the artist's work and is able to trust the artist and their abilities. In the rare case that the client and artist are unable to move forward because of their inability to agree on the brow shape and/or technique, the artist holds the right to end the session prematurely and the client will lose their deposit. Booking a consultation, prior to booking, is highly recommended to review any questions/concerns you may have.

Pre and post care guidelines will be provided for optimal results, but there are NO GUARANTEES as all clients react differently to the procedure and because we have no control over outside factors (proper pre/aftercare, skin type, lifestyle, health, etc.) that contribute to the final healed result.

For new clients, a minimum of 2 appointments are typically required to achieve the most consistent, long-lasting outcome. While most clients will only require 2 sessions, additional appointments may be necessary for some to achieve desired results.
